Finding coordinates on a curve given a line parallel to the tangent of the curve.

We just started calculus a couple days ago and I'm confused about this question. The equation of the curve is 3x^2-4x and the line parallel to the tangent line is y=8x.

Obviously the slope of the tangent will be 8 but I'm not sure how to find the exact coordinates. Most YouTube tutorials I've seen are doing derivatives but we haven't learn that yet. Thanks

I dont think you can do this without finding derivatives.
