Since the drug is a Calcium Channel Blocker it's outcomes should be;
1. Treatment of hypertension
2. Treatment of angina (chest pains)
3. Treatment of arrhythmias (irregular heart beats)
Also referred to as calcium antagonist, the drug relaxes the heart muscle and arterial walls hence reducing blood pressure. Verapemil is classified as a Non-dihydropyridine Ca2+ channel blocker
