Reducing a fraction to lowest terms aka simplest form, you have to divide both the numerator and denominator by the GCF (Greatest Common Factor). As an example 12/36, they share 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 to convert it to its simplest form you want to select the GCF which in this case is 12 to convert it into its simplest form 1/3.
