We will find out first the mass of the person in kilograms like this:
3000 mg .......................................................... 1 kg
170 mg (0.1700 g) ........................................... x kg
=>
x= (170)/(3000) =0.05 kg
The mass in pounds will be 0.05 * 2.204 = 0.124 pounds as 1 kg is equal 2.204 pounds. So the answer is 0.124 .
