Since a cube is defined to have the same measurement in all three dimensions, it's volume can be calculated by raising the measurement of one side to the power of three.

In the problem we are given a measurement in centimeters and we are tasked to find the volume in m³. To make the calculation easier, we can just convert the measurement immediately since we know 100cm = 1m. Following this conversion, 13cm will be equal to 0.13m.

For the volume we'll get:
0.13^(3)=0.002197 cubic meters or
2.197*10^(3) cubic meters if you are more comfortable expressing it in scientific notation.
