Integrate Information Why do you think smaller states thought that larger states with western lands would become too powerful?

The larger the state by population, the more representative they get in the House of Representatives, so therefore the smaller states were outnumbered in the House of Representatives and didn’t have as much say in stuff.
The Western states populations were also going way up (like California), so that could be a reason.
