Although some of the most important proposals were not approved by the conservatives, such as the abolition of the Death Penalty, the Right to Vote for women, and to stop using the word "White" on the ballots ( to be more inclusive with all the people), two important changes if they were implemented: Provided a common judge please in each county, and provided laws to ensure the safety and welfare of employees. These amendments, together with the 31 of 41 accepted, changed the Constitution of Ohio so much, that it's considered that a new constitution was created, that of 1912.
