It’s wave motion. Because when wave passes throug an object, some of the other material can go though on other object(s).

Answer:

Transmission

Step-by-step explanation:

Some of wave energy is transmitted through the object. During this transmission, some of wave energy might be absorbed within the material.

When a wave of certain frequency strikes an object, some of wave energy may go through other material, depending on wavelength and the characteristics of material.

For example, sound, a vibrational wave in the air, it also passes through most materials by causing same type of the vibrations in them.
