What did the treaty of Versailles mean for Germany and for europe

The treaty of versailles essentially put europe into a ticking time bomb. It placed all the blame of the war on Germany and forced the German people to pay for the damages caused by the war. This eventually led to outrage from the german people who were then led to support adolf hitler and thus the chain of events lead to world war two began
