the term Universal Precautions means the standard practice of how to avoid contact with patients bodily fluid like blood, spit, or any other liquids. Generally, the most common ways of avoiding having contact with these fluids is to wear nonporous articles which include medical exam gloves, face shields, and goggles. The most popular and most often seen by patients is the use of medical gloves which are generally applied prior to beginning any medical treatment.
