If a cell is placed inside a solution that has a higher concentration of solute than on the inside of the cell, what can be said about the movement of water?

A. Water will move into the cell, causing it to swell.

B. Water will move out of the cell, causing it to swell.

C. Water will move in and out of the cell at the same rate.

D. Water will move out of the cell, causing it to shrivel.

I would say the answer is A. if there is more people outside of the building and less people on the inside then more people would move inside in the building. the same can be said for this. therefore I think  the answer would be A. Hope that helps.
