First you always need to solve the parenthesis first , so we have to solve 2/5 + 1/5 , which is 3/5
3/5- 3/10
In order to subtract fractions with different denominators , we have to make them equal:
3/5 is equal to 6/10 which is (3×2)/(5×2) making 3/5 equivelnt to 6/10
so now our equation is 6/10 -3/10
In order to subtract fraction that have the same denominators , you just need to subtract the numerators and leave the denominators alone:
6/10-3/10 = 3/10
The awnser is 3/10
I hope you understood my brief explanation
