27 because the unit rate is 2/3, and 2/3 of 27 is 18

Answer:

x= 27

Explanation:

Percy is plotting points on a graph.

The ratio of y -value to x -value is 2 to 3 for each point

Ratio of y to x is 2 to 3

(y)/(x) = (2)/(3)

Given y value is 18

lets find out x

(y)/(x) = (2)/(3)

Plug in 18 for y

(18)/(x) = (2)/(3)

Cross multiply it

3*18 = 2x

54= 2x

Divide by 2 on both sides

x= 27
