This is pretty obvious. The answer is B)metals because most of the nonmetals are gases but the majority is metals.

Answer: Option (B) is the correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the periodic table, on moving from from left to right there are alkali metals at the extreme left, then alkaline earth metals and at the middle of periodic table there are transition metals.

And, on moving towards the right there are non-metals and noble gases at the extreme right.

This shows that majority of elements in a periodic table are metals.

Thus, we can conclude that the majority of elements found in the periodic table can be classified as metals.
