Rachel has recently been focused on practicing with her dance team every day after class. They're getting ready for a big performance, and Rachel has been rehearsing almost nonstop because she wants to nail her solo. On a rare day off from practice, she calls her best friend, Joann, to talk. Joann says sarcastically, "I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth or something. I can't believe you're calling me." Rachel is a little surprised by Joann's tone and response. How can Rachel fix this problem with Joann?

a: She can quit the dance team to spend more time with Joann.
b: She can drop the solo she's supposed to perform so that she can call Joann instead going to practices.
c: She can sneak away or miss a few practices so that she can call Joann during the day.
d: She can promise Joann that she won't neglect their friendship even when she's busy.
