It supports the infantry part of the military and is used for heavily surrounded areas. Their designs are built to keep people from being harmed. I think the most important part of the tank's design is the material it's made out of.

Tanks in warfare are used as support for infantry and should be used for aiding the infantry through heavily fortified areas. The armor of the tank is the most important as it allows the crew to break through fortified positions without being harmed.
