What problems did the american economy face at the end of 1920s?

The major economy problem was that the stocks kept rising and rising and rising and then all of a sudden they crashed (due to other external factors too) . This caused a public outcry and then the Great Depression began. This involved no jobs, business, or anything to boost the economy what so ever.
