7/6z+1/3=-5/6
1/3= 2/6 (multiply both by 2)
We can solve this for z.
7/6z+2/6= -5/6
Subtract 2/6 on both sides.
7/6z= -7/6
Divide 7/6 into both sides.
z=
-1
The value
-1
makes the equation true.
