20 servings at 1/2 cup for 8 servings would be 2 and 1/4 cup

8 servings = 1/2 cup
1 serving = 1/2 / 8 = 1/16 cups
So 20 servings = 20 * 1/16 = 5/4 or 1 1/4 cups
