They are parallel planes
Plane ABC is the top of the box (flat and horizontal; parallel to the ground)
Plane EFG is the bottom of the box (parallel to plane ABC and the ground)
Plane ABC and EFG will never cross even if you extend the planes out infinitely in each direction along the flat surface.
