Why are experiments not often used in personality psychology?

Because Random assignment is very difficult
Experiments that conducted through researches subject tend to not represent their behavior in the real life, especially if they know the purpose of the test.
Becuase of this, most of the data in personality psychology usually taken from personal questionnaire
