Coronal plane. It is an imaginary plane dividing the body into dorsal and ventral halves. It is also known as frontal plane. The location of body parts are described by three planes. Sagittal plane, Coronal plane and transverse plane are the three planes. The coronal plane is an example of longitudinal plane.
