If a meteorite crashed onto the moon, would you be able to hear it on Earth why or why not

Hey there!
No, you would not.
This is because sound requires a medium, or particles to travel through. Since there are none of these in space, (why it's known as a vacuum), the sound can't travel, and the waves will not be able to reach Earth.

no, because there is a vaccum between earth and the moon (no air) and sound requires a medium to pass to pass through to be heard.
