To solve this problem you can make a rule of three and find the percentage of increase
113 ---> 100
163 ---> x
Clearing x we have
x = (163/113) * (100) = 144.25
Then, the percentage of growth is
144.25-100 = 44.25

the approximate percentage increase of the number of seats in the theater 44.25%
