An entire amount is 100%.
If 60% of an amount is green, then 40% of the amount is not green.
The entire amount here is 20.
1.
Tomatoes that were not green: 40% of 20 = 40% * 20 = 0.40 * 20 = 8
2. 20 - 8 = 12
12 tomatoes were green.
