Question: Which type of rock (sedimentary, metamorphic or igneous) will break apart the easiest with repeated freezing and thawing of water around the rock? Describe the experiment. PLEASE HELP ME. I'M SO CONFUSED!?!

I'm not sure, but I believe it's the igneous rock because igneous rocks are formed with magma. If freezing water touched wicked hot lava the rock might harden but be very flimsy. Then again I'm not sure. Sedimentary is already broken down rock from weathering and erosion and metamorphic rock is a solid, normal rock that probably wouldn't react to freezing water.
