Although globalization has affected society in many positives ways, globalization has created and exacerbated many issues as well, including –, which could lead to many environmental refugees in the future, and – due to pollution and corporate greed.

Globalization causes environmental problems which need to be resolved. It has led to pollution, one most notably overmanufacturing and distribution of plastic packaging which is required to keep products fresh while they're imported or exported. Nothing wrong with globalization per se if problems are addressed.
