Brooklyn started to jog for 8 minutes. Now she can jog for 15 minutes.

We have to calculate the percent increase.

Percent increase is calculated by finding the difference between the two numbers you are comparing. Then divide the increase by the original number and multiply the answer by 100.

So, in this case

Percent increase =
((15-8))/(8) * 100

=
0.875 * 100

= 87.5 %

So, In this case we get percent increase as 87.5%
