Explain why you can't fully test the lipase activity in tube 5.

It has a very low pH already , so the test requires the visualization of a diminishing in pH, it may be hard to identify.
The ideal pH of gastric lipase is 3 – 6, implying that gastric lipase does not work at its ideal pH in the stomach
A lipase is any catalyst that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fats (lipids). Lipases are a subclass of the esterases. Lipases perform basic parts in the absorption, transport and preparing of dietary lipids

The reason why you cant test the activity of Lipase in test tube 5 is because in test tube 5 the PH is low. This decrease in pH might make it difficult to detect the activity of lipase since the optimal ph of pancreatic lipase is around 8.0. generally high or low PH result to complete loss of activities of most enzymes.
