This figure can be broken up into three figures. The triangle has dimensions of

l = 2 \: \: \: h = 4
The triangle has an area of 4.

The small rectangle has dimensions of 4ft x 6ft. İt's area is 24ft^2. The large rectangle without triangle length has dimensions of 10ft x 12ft and an area of 1200^2. Subtract the empty box area of 24ft^2 from 1200ft^2, and add the triangle's area to get a total area of 1176ft^2.

I think it's 1,456. Though I don't understand why I would need pie for this.
