Deforestation and land cover has already caused the extinction of a large number of insect species on the tropical island of Madagascar. That, in turn, has lead to the near extinction of the lemur.
So when you ever see on Tv or on the newspaper and even with your own eyes people cutting down tress and cleaning out a forest, they are slowly, little by little causing a extinction of a large number of bugs, animal, and other cool and amazing species that should not be extinct.
