This is an example of selective perception. During this scenario, Donna is understanding that the errors made in the audit were not of her doing, so taking the time to perceive the errors and trying to rectify them would simply be a waste of her (and the company's) time and resources. By selectively attenuating to certain topics and not bothering with others, she is making the best use of her time.
