When cells divide during meiosis homologous chromosomes are randomly distributed to daughter cells and different chromosomes segregate what of each other?

Meiosis is a reduction division and in this process, the different chromosomes segregate independently of each other. A human egg cell has 23 chromosomes. Genetically, daughter cells are identical to parent cells so they also have the same number of chromosomes.
