It was a series of treaties drafted and ratified between 1646 and 1648. It was decided that the peace treaties would be used to end numerous different wars in Europe which all belonged to the classification of the Thirty Years War. The peace established what sovereign states would mean and be and would create a legacy for others to adopt as well.
