Find a start signal, and write the amino acid sequence that is coded for. 5'...gccauguuuccgaguuaucccaaagauaaaaaagag...3'

The start signal is AUG which codes fo methionine. The amino acid sequence will be as follows: Met-Phe-Pro-Ser-Tyr-Pro-Lys-Asp-Lys-Lys-Glu. The first codon (GCC) codes for alanine but not in the amino acid sequence because it is not a start codon (the only start codon is AUG which codes for methionine).
