Luna has $50 when she got to the carnival. After riding 12 rides she had $26 left. what was the price of each ride? Which equation can be used to represent this situation?

If we take $50 and subtract the amount of money Luna had after she went on the rides we end up with the sum of 24. We can now divide 24 by 12 to find the cost of each ride. In the end, each ride was $2.

2 dollars a ride, since 50-26 is 24 and 24/12 is 2
