Locomotion; is the movement of an organism from one place to another in such of food, shelter, mate, flee danger and space. In most organisms the movement is enhanced by the action of Appendages such as flagella, limbs, wings and other organisms use specialized structures such as pseudopodia in bacteria. In some animals the movements results from wavelike series of muscle contractions.
