The strip is likely to partly recover, but never return to its original state.

Answer:

The strip is likely to partly recover, but never return to its original state.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mine is an excavation to obtain substances useful to man, such as ores, fuel, water etc. Subdivision tunnels made (or natural) by miners inside underground mines are known as galleries. Because of their wealth in some resources needed by humanity, the mines are explored until their resources are exhausted and then abandoned. Ideally, miners will repair the damage done to mines, but this is not the case, and the mine eventually recovers on its own over time, but cannot return to its original state prior to human intervention.
