B. the meeting of the first Continental Congress. It was considered an assembly of representatives of the thirteen English colonies that were part of the United States during the war of independence in England.
This congress made known that the inhabitants of the English colonies in America had the right to life, liberty, and property; that those who had established the colonies long ago had the same rights, liberties, and immunities as the free inhabitants of England.
