Why are nutrients needed for living things? Describe the difference between living and nonliving things.

Nutrients are needed because that’s how living things get their energy . And others living things get their energy from others and that’s what makes the food chain

Well all living things need water, and some source of food. The diffrence between a living and non-living thing is that one need water and other nutrients to keep it alive whereas non living things do not.
