Three term polynomial that's a perfect square. Just multiply two of the same expressions together.

perfect square
(x+1)²

Multiplying through gives the three terms.
(x+1)(x+1) = x² + 2x + 1

(x+1)² = x² + 2x + 1

Pattern is ...
(x + a)² = x² + 2ax + a²
