There are 4 coins in the cup.

Prob( choosing first a penny then a nickel) = 1/4 * 1/3 = 1/12

Prob(choosing first a nickel then a penny) = 1/4 * 1/3 = 1/12

Required probability =1/12 + 1/12 = 1/6 Answer
