renee can sew a 25 square foot in 16 hours genera can sew the same the same size quilt in 12 hours how long would it take them to see the quilt working together

im thinking 4 hours. i just subtracted the average sewing per hour and subtracted it. 16-12 is 4. its JUST a guess though.

6.85 or 6 7/8

Explanation:

If they work together the the will able to saw an area of ( 25/16 + 25/12 ) quilt per hour

= 1.5625 + 2.083

= 3.6455

For sewing 25 sq feet, it will take 25/ 3.6455 = 6.85 hours
