x= -5

6 - 2x = 6x - 10x + 4 \\ 6 - (- 4) = 6x - 10x + 2x \\ 10 = - 2x \\ 10 / ( \ - 2) = x \\ 10 \ / ( - 2) = - 5

6-2x=6x-10x+4
6-2x=-4x+4
Add 4x to both sides: 6+2x=4
Subtract 6 from both sides" 2x = -2
divide 2 from both sides: x=-1
