A rectangular pool is 40 feet by 20 feet. The portion of the pool that is reserved for recreational swimming is 20 ft by 10 ft. The rest of the pool is reserved for the swim team. How many square feet are reserved for the swim team?

Well after writing it out you really only need to subtract the 10 ft from the 40ft since the 20 feet's are the same that would leave the swim team 30 ft by 20 ft
