One advantage of a secondary source is that it can also cite a primary source which allows for different points of view.

One advantage of a secondary source over a primary source is THAT, SECONDARY SOURCE USUALLY PROVIDE VERY DETAILED INFORMATION.
Primary source refers to original experience that has not been interpreted. An example of this is a speech given by a politician or an autobiography written by an author. A secondary source refers to a source that has interpreted or draw conclusion from an original work.
