The resident's Bill of Rights was established as a part of The Nursing Home Reform Act and it provides a list of the rights a resident has during their stay at a nursing home. According to this Bill among other things, the resident assistant should treat the resident with care and respect and protect their right to privacy. The health status of the resident is deemed confidential.
