It was about 12-14% increase in production of rice took place as a result of green revolution in china. green revolution was a dramatic increase in the production of grains like rice and wheat during the 1960s. it happened due to semi dwar varietis of rice and wheat. Taichung-Native 1 was a rice variety contributed much to the green revolution.
