The direction of the field is opposite the direction of the force on a negative charge, so the direction is DOWNWARD. So E = F/Q = 1.65 * 10^(-5)/(-1 * 10^(-6) E = 1.65/1 * 10^(-5+6) E = 1.65 * 10^(1)
