y=29

x=21

Remember that a straight angle = 180 degrees. So to solve for y, we get 120-60. 4y+4=120. 4y=116. y=29.

Because the x equation is the angle above the y, we know that they add up to 180 as well. So 3x-3=60. 3x=63 x=21
